I’m so in love with these shots my friend snapped of Beau and me. These will be some of my most cherished photos of us. Just took a week off of the blog and it felt nice to kind of stay off the internet for a while. We’ve been trying to stay busy around here with lots of working and lots of chasing Beau around. I still can’t believe every day how big my boy is. We have been ready for another one to come along for a really long time, but it’s unfortunately just not on our time table. It kills us both to have to wait for something we long for more than anything. It’s like a little part of me dies each month. But we are doing our best to stay positive and know that things will work out as they should! It just gives us more time to love on our boy while he is our only one! Here’s to making it a very happy week, because also it’s fall!! And I LOVE the fall.

We just got home from a little getaway at Brian Head with Blake’s family. We had a great time but boy am I happy to be back in my bed! Beau never sleeps great in a pack and play so he was scrunched in between Blake and me in a queen bed. We didn’t get much sleep. This weekend we will be relaxing and staying home. We’ve had some stressful and emotional weeks in the family lately so we are ready to enjoy time together for a stress-free weekend. xoxo

Is there anything better than a baby in jeans without a shirt? Oh my sweet boy sure keeps me on my toes every day. He is constantly learning new dangerous tricks like climbing up and down the bar stools or climbing shelves in the pantry to reach a pack of m&m’s. I swear I watch him carefully but he can be sneaky! I love him so much. This age is so busy and fun and I’m loving every second of being his mom. Maybe minus the dramatic tantrums he throw from time to time 😉

Yay for Friday! Hooray we are so happy the weekend is here. Today is my husband’s 34th birthday and I am so excited to take him out tonight to celebrate! My mom is watching the baby and we are having a child free night together. We don’t get many of those so I’m excited! I am going to blog about him and his birthday next week because he’s so amazing. Speaking of amazing……this dainty jewelry has been on me since I got it. I was so excited to partner up with Brin & Bell and snag a few gems. My “B” bracelet for my Beau or Blake ;), and I wear this wishbone necklace practically every single day.

This weekend my childhood friend came and took a few snaps of my babe and me. He is just the best little model baby. His favorite thing in the world is listening to songs or being sang to, so in all of these photos of the two of us I am singing to him. And boy do his eyes sparkle when he gets sung to! You guys, I was kind of nervous to post these. I am not a swimsuit model and I’m not super comfortable flaunting myself around (insert monkey covering eyes emoji). But when Rad Swim sent me these suits I tried them on and fell in love. I was actually comfortable in them! I love a good one piece almost more than a good two piece. I am so excited to take my baby swimming this summer and wear these to the pool. So if you’re looking for a new swimsuit, look no further! Now if only the weather could actually get warm.
