Happy Monday! This week I’m focusing on fitness since it’s one of my biggest passions. Running is one of my favorite ways to stay in shape and also relax my mind! Over the weekend I ran a half marathon with my sister and some friends. It was hard but also so much fun! For me half marathons are the perfect distance. Enough to be a challenge, but not so much as a full marathon (they are painful for me!) The course for the race was about 80% downhill so that helped me to get my fastest time I’ve ever had. I pushed it so hard that I can seriously hardly walk today! I think I’m ready to take a little break from long distance running for the year!
^^The night before my race I of course had to eat a TON of Thai food, and ice cream.^^
^^This boy is obsessed with dogs!^^
I am so grateful to have the best support team. My parents never miss a race, and my Blake and baby are always at the finish line cheering me on. It’s also the best to have a sister to do all these races with! Have a great Monday, thanks for reading!

Congrats, girl! I was so excited to check back and see how you did. And yay for getting your best time! I am still so impressed with people who do long races like this.. I would love to do it sometime but I don’t know when I will follow through on training.

Thanks Danielle! It is super hard to be motivated sometimes. Hopefully I can help give you a little inspiration! xo
Congratulations! What a feat! You sure deserve a sweet treat after that. I am not super fond of running, but I do it because I like getting outside. My mom has run some half marathons, but that is too far for me I think

Thanks Bella! The best part of running is being outside so I totally get what you mean! I also love to hike and I think that’s just as hard as running sometimes 🙂
